As every piece of wood is unique expect different characters and shades in the actual product. EASE OF INSTALLATION: Put two of the O-rings below the footrest on each of the legs. O-rings are undersized, because of this you should unclip the legs from the seat to install them. You see a lot of videos showing installation from the bottom, this is wrong because the o-ring will stretch. Our footrest works with a sticker installed but be careful not to scratch it because it will be a bit tight. Always put the "good" side facing up.
